Vigur Island

Vigur is a small, privately-owned island in the area. It is a nesting site for many birds, has the only windmill in Iceland (no longer functional), an eider-processing facility, and the smallest post-office. Also the family who own the island serves nice tea and cakes. This is a view from Vigur:
Attack of the Arctic terns. We were given sticks to ward them away from our heads.
Puffins! Why we came here.
